A dating app where your friends can match you too. There is “For me”, where you swipe for yourself, and “Ship mode”, where you pair up two people.

Every feature is free during the beta. After launch the app stays free to use, with optional Plus and Gold memberships for extras such as unlimited likes. Beta members get a month of Gold at launch.

We start on Android, as a closed beta on Google Play; applications are already open. The iPhone version comes later. MatchIt+ is used as a phone app only.

Tap “Apply for the beta” or write to info@matchitplus.com from the email address you use on Google Play. When the beta starts we add you to the test list and send you the download link.

Anyone aged 18 or over. Underage accounts are closed.

Ship mode shows you two people who fit each other. If you can see it, tap “Ship”; both get the suggestion. If both accept, they match and the chat opens.

A ship is only a suggestion; you never match unless you accept. The person suggested also fits your gender, age and distance preferences.

Turn off “Others can ship me” in Settings and you never appear in Ship mode.

Yes, every ship you receive shows who shipped you and with whom.

Go to Profile > Verify and take a selfie in the pose the app asks for. Our team compares it with your photos; once approved, a blue badge shows on your profile.

No. Distance is worked out to about 1 km and only shown as, say, “3 km away”.

Yes: Profile > Download my data. For your other data rights, write to info@matchitplus.com.

In the app: Profile > Delete account. If you cannot sign in, write “Delete my account” to info@matchitplus.com from your registered email or phone; we delete it within 30 days. Details: Delete your account.

Use the flag on their profile card or the menu in the chat. People you block can never see you again.
